Food was good, and the staff friendly and helpful. Service was efficient without being intrusive. Bottled water provided in the room and good quality tea and coffee.
The griffin inn is one of our favorite places in the world. The food is amazing, the staff are always helpful, and the location is wonderful. There are gorgeous views of the Sussex Downs, and it as well located to many local sites. A perfect place for a delightful vacation.

we had. delightful room clean and spacious ,with fan as it was hot , super dinner in the evening ,with winer etc excellent .
