This 4-star Georgian coaching inn offers a traditional pub and restaurant serving fresh local produce. Surrounded by Hampshire countryside, it features individually styled rooms with free Wi-Fi. Dating back to 1810, The Kings Head is fitted with antique furnishings and fireplaces. It is supposed that the inn was given its present name for its close connection with the family of Oliver Cromwell. All rooms at The Kings Head come with cable TV and a work desk. Each has a private bathroom with a bath or shower. Free toiletries and high quality towels are also provided. Only 10 minutes’ drive from Winchester center, the inn offers free private parking on site. Southampton and the ferries to the Isle of Wight are 25 minute’s drive away. South Winchester Golf Club is 1.9 miles from The King's Head. The Kings Head has its own skittles alley, which is available for hire.

Absolutely beautiful room, restaurant, pub, building, and location. Best bathtub I've ever experienced. Comfortable bed. The food was amazing. Staff was incredibly helpful and friendly.
Lovely village pub, very cosy and welcoming. Breakfast and dinner were excellent. I stayed in the Cooper room which was a reasonable size with huge bathroom!
