Built in 1822 this listed building is full of character offering spectacular views across the North Bay to Scarborough Castle and the Yorkshire coastline. The Leeway’s rooms are tastefully decorated and feature Freeview TV, free WiFi and are supplied with tea and coffee making facilities along with hairdryers. The hotel is over three floors. It has no elevator. The Leeway overlooks the cliffs and the beach that stretches for over a mile along the rugged coastline. There is free parking on site and the fun fair and arcades of South Bay are just a 10-minute walk away. The Town center is home to a variety of restaurants that offer sea food, Italian, Indian, Chinese and English cuisine, all just minutes away.

Excellent stay. Small touches such as fridge and fan in room was lovely.
Lovely small hotel with 9 rooms, the service was excellent, breakfast was delicious and very accommodating to my food allergies. Room was very comfortable and the view of the North Bay is stunning. Easy walking distance to the castle and there are lots of great restaurants very close by.

The host is very sweet and helpful, the place is clean and comfortable. The views are tremendous! The hotel is right across from the beach, with the ruins and ancient church on the cliffs right above.
