Very friendly staff, and an easy check in. The evening dinner was exceptional, and highly recommended. The room was a little small, but given the age of the building, nothing to complain about. For anyone touring, bikes / cars etc., it is a good stop off point, conveniently located close to two petrol stations.
The location was very convenient for the town centre and the breakfast was well cooked.

Breakfast was great with ample drink refills and extra toast if required. Paul was very attentive and helpful with our companions who have dietary issues.
The breakfast was excellent...tastey, local ingredients and with prompt service. We were asked to book the time in advance the night but that was O.K, it enabled us to plan our morning and didn't have to wait to be seated. We were able to have our meals with the dog as we ate in the bar. We had a lovely evening meal from the extensive Thai menu and they were very accomodating. Nice to see the hotel is used by locals and travellers alike and it was a lovely, relaxed atmosphere. The hotel is only 550 yards from the Showground (we were attending an event there and the reason for our stay), so couldn't be more convenient. It is a beautiful part of the country.
