I loved the beams in the room and that the staff was friendly. Checkout was very simple, just throw the keys into the post box. Also free parking available!
This is a historic property with all that entails. However, it does have air conditioning, which is a big plus.
Beautiful history building. Large and clean room. Comfortable beds. Close to town center. It’s perfect!
Friendly staff at the bar! Cat and Barry were more than helpful and took time to get to know us.
Loved the AC because it was 30F and we were cool at night.
Very pleasently surprised, the accommodation was really done well and seemingly quite recently. while we were a little conceened walking up as it looked like a veyr average area and pub, it was very confortable and quiet. You need to go up quite a few stairs depending what level you are on, but for us that was not an issue (just to let anyone know that is not as mobile). We had a room that was in the roof line and amazing with the original oak beams. The pub was not at all reowdy even though it was a Saturday night and we had a lovely bedtime drink before retiring,
