Beautiful house and beautiful views. Lots of places for scenic walks, and incredibly calm.
Really looked like an old rectory with lots of character. Beautiful old china scattered throughout and solid furniture. Such welcoming hosts and the extra touches of cold water in a fridge in the room, fresh milk for tea and flapjacks. A lovely little decanter of sherry with two pretty sherry glasses - hadn’t drunk sherry in years but it was delicious as was the very tasty and beautifully cooked breakfast.
The property was very beautiful with a very lovely room where we were staying. When you look outside you have a beautiful view of mountains and fields and that gives you this wonderful feeling of peace and tranquility . The service was absolutely amazing. I really enjoyed how welcoming and helpful the hosts were with everything. The breakfast options were plenty and all of it was very well prepared. Overall a great experience, so if you want to visit Coniston - this is a great place to stay at!
The hosts were amazing. I felt very warm welcome. I eat vegan diet and I was looked after really well. Vegan muffins made by Ann were delicious!!!
I loved the character of the house and the room. Room and the house was very clean. Crisp white sheets. Really lovely place to stay.
