The Old Vicarage Hotel & Restaurant is one of the oldest buildings in Bridgwater, with some parts dating back to the 14th century. The property has undergone extensive renovations to the oldest parts of the property, including 9 of the bedrooms, in 2019. The bar and restaurant serves lunch, evening meals and we offer all our guest a continental breakfast buffet with home-cooked traditional as well. Located in the heart of the town center, there is a garden and patio area, where guests can enjoy their morning coffee, lunch or a drink. Just off of the M5 at Junction 24, the hotel is close to many attractions such as Cheddar Gorge, Quantock Hills, Glastonbury, Wells, Wookey Hole and the city of Bristol.

Great atmosphere fantastic staff made you feel welcome
The room was extremely comfortable and a very good size. The place was very clean and well looked after and the staff were very friendly and attentive.
I had a meal in the restaurant, which was very nice. It is not an extensive menu but it is more than adequate and my meal was of very good quality.
Friendly staff. Large bedroom and large bathroom. Quaint but modern at the same time. Good value for the money. Evening meal and breakfast excellent.
I didn’t have breakfast as I had to go early but it looked great
The food was excellent, the staff very friendly and helpful. What an amazing little place to stay
