Wonderful apartment, great location, very clean. Host is absolutely exceptional and thoughtfully prepared the place for her guests. Will definitely recommend.
Oban is a bustling port town with much to see and do - both in town and in the nearby environs. Once you make it up the three flights of stairs to The Penthouse, you are rewarded with amazing views and a really well laid out apartment for a family or two couples. Fiona was a wonderful host — very communicative and had excellent recommendations on places to eat and things to do (both in Oban and throughout the Highlands).
The host provided detailed info via messages way in advance and responded to all requests promptly. The state-of-art facility and appliances (apart from washing machine) made it an absolute luxurious stay, especially with the penthouse view into the harbour as well as walking distance to the eateries!
Super clean and comfortable apartment in a great location to walk around Oban. Our host Fiona communicated with us easily. The amenities available in the apartment were generous and greatly appreciated. We arrived in Scotland on the day of check-in and drove all day from Edinburgh to Oban. There was coffee, water, and tea available for us as well as fruit and snacks. The beds were all comfortable, and there was sufficient bedding. Thank you, Fiona, for a great stay!
Our host was exceptional. She was responsive and thought of everything. She included many extra things to make sure we had a comfortable and memorable time. She is the best vacation host we’ve ever had.
