Lovely welcome, and helped with luggage up the stairs. Room was lovely and warm and beautifully decorated and clean. Although we didn't use them, very good selection of tea/coffee and bottled water provided. Very comfortable bed. On site restaurant was very impressive - good selection, with specials on offer too, very generous portion sizes and very reasonably priced. Breakfast was included in the bedroom price and again good selection of options. Toiletries were luxurious and shower pressure and temperature were also great.

Friendly reception every time I appeared , on arrival , for dinner , for breakfast, a family feel to the place which is an antidote to the soulless corporate chains. Food is cooked to order and of very high quality with a saffa twist. Rooms are well appointed with quirky furnishings

The staff are friendly and service is excellent. The food is amazing the portions are perfect and if you want to spoil yourself the porterhouse and Tomahawk steak are an absolute treat! Food is cooked to perfection.
