Nice large room at the back of the hotel, so it was very quiet. For us, the location was perfect, because we wanted to be on the west side of town, in the Sharrow area, and getting there from the coach or rail station is easy - a number 218 bus, the same one that can take you to the Peaks, Chatsworth House and Bakewell. Although the 218 is only 1/2 hourly, for getting into Sheffield city centre, it's also only a 10 min walk to the Eccleshall Road, with excellent and frequent bus connections and nay number of restaurants, pubs and shops. The hotel has a bar and restaurant and, although we didn't eat there, we heard good things about it from friends who live nearby.

Friendly staff, great food, cocktails, lovely room, loved it.

The room was lovely and had everything we needed. We didn't have breakfast, but we did have dinner in the restaurant. We tried the tasting menu and it was superb! Jonathon S took great care to describe every dish to us and recommended accompanying wines. He did a marvellous job! Thank you Jonathon

The food was delicious . Staff were really helpful and the rooms were clean

Location was good for me as I was visiting family. I only met three members of staff but they went out of their way to help and were charming.
