This 17th-century Elizabethan inn has a peaceful location in the Troutbeck Valley, with weaving footpaths that link the nearby ancient hamlets. It offers à la carte cuisine, and is 1.5 miles from the former home of Beatrix Potter. Rooms at The Queen's Head Hotel have traditional furnishings with a contemporary twist. Incredible all round, Sam was the best host we’ve ever had, so welcoming and lovely. The room, food and facilites were top notch!
