Such a cozy place to relax after a day exploring along Hadrian's Wall. Mike and Lorna are fantastic hosts, and The Side has everything you need to be comfortable and enjoy your holiday. Very conveniently located too, it's just a short 10 minute or so walk in to the heart of town. You'll love it there!
Lovely, cosy apartment. Everything we needed for a weekend stay. Host was very welcoming and we really enjoyed our stay.
It's about a 15 minute walk from the centre which was absolutely fine for us but as it's on a hill may not be suitable for everyone.
This downstairs area at The Side was very comfortable and warm. The facilities were excellent and we appreciated the breakfast items and also enjoyed the prosseco - a lovely touch.
The property was perfect. We had a mix up of dates somehow , the hosts were most understanding and accommodating to ensure we had a room to stay. Top marks to the owners, cannot speak highly enough of the help they gave us 10/10
Mike and Lorna were very welcoming and lovely. They made us feel at home and their apartment is really cosy and has everything you need.
