Nice environment, great buffet breakfast and very close to the bus
Great location to explore the Cotswolds! The Stag was a great “pub stay”for us Americans. Breakfasts was delicious each morning and staff were kind and accommodating.
The hotel/pub was absolutely fabulous. An old building with updated rooms. Breakfast was wonderful. Location for the Cotswold was great. Visit several cites within minutes.
Positive: the location, parking and breakfast!! Fabulous parking right in front of hotel. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and delicious!
Cons: Our room was very small, with very little space to move around. The most difficult part was the low doorways and the four flights of stairs to get to our room. We bumped our heads on the doorway several times. And I fell partway down a flight of stairs due to limited lighting and slick carpet and shallow, turned steps.
Lots of character in this ancient inn. Good location, nice pub and good food too.
