Historic and rural location was what we wanted but may not be for others. Meals offerings were good, staff excellent. Good bicycle storage.
Staff were fantastic - each and every one were friendly and helpful.
Room 8 was spacious, clean. Bed was very comfortable.
The food was excellent - great quality, fresh and full of flavour.

We were warmly greeted, and shown to our clean and comfortable room. Tea and coffee making facilities, comfy bed, gorgeous large bath, plenty of hot water, clean towels, lots of information about the area, free WiFi. Very friendly staff in the bar, where we enjoyed a late lunch and breakfast the following morning. Both delicious, and excellent value for money. Can't recommend highly enough;
I liked the accommodation , friendly staff and we had a fab dinner at the pub
