Lovely location, free parking, friendly, caring staff, delicious breakfast . I would certainly book there again.
The inn is so charming with lovely gardens and a warm homey feel in our room as well as the restaurant/pub. Breakfast was delicious as were the meat pies and all the meals the chef prepared for us. Everyone, especially Carly, Brandon and Layla were happy to help us with anything we asked. Thank you all for a perfect first trip to the English countryside!
After arriving early due to snow, room was ready. All staff very efficient and food very good.
My room was quite basic for a 4* establishment, but was very clean and the toiletries were nice.
The bed was very comfortable and the bedding of good quality. I appreciated the Smart TV.
However due to the Tollgate's location on the junction the traffic was noisy from 6.30 am onwards so I would take earplugs next time.
The breakfast was very good and the staff lovely and friendly.
Location, staff friendly and helpful. Atmosphere really good.
