Описание
Set within the stunning Lake District mountains, The Unicorn Inn is the oldest traditional pub in Ambleside. We have a bar and restaurant, with 4 rooms with attached bathroom and one 1 small box double room with adjacent bathroom. All rooms have free Wifi, tea/coffee making facilities, fresh cotton bedding, toiletries and towels. The accommodations is room only and guests have private access to the rooms and road. We have no parking but there is a public parking lot close by. The Unicorn, serves simple fresh bar food, made on site by our local chef and owners. We pride ourselves on our Sunday roasts and fine ales. Guests will always receive a warm welcome to our cozy traditional English pub.

The staff were extremely friendly and accomodating when we had to store a bag and check out a bit later... very flexible and understanding. The location was also great... right in Ambleside.
We truly enjoyed our stay, and we were greeted warmly upon arrival. Clean, comfortable room, and a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was delicious, and we had numerous options to choose from including traditional Scottish and contemporary options. We also enjoyed visiting with the sisters who manage the property. We highly recommend the Unicorn when staying in Ambleside!

It was cozy, just a little out of the way of extra foot traffic, very friendly service, perfect for our needs.
This was the perfect room to put our heads down after a good day in the mountains. We got exactly what we expected for the price we paid in such a premium location. Staff were lovely and the pub is great for a drink and a feed on the evening. If anything the room was slightly more spacious than what we expected.
