This was our penultimate stage of our Northumberland Coastal Path walk and we were very tired when we arrived, having walked 18 miles instead of the estimated 11 miles due to planning error. The staff greeted us with kindness, our bags were already sorted and we were able just to relax.
In the morning, the breakfast menu was extensive and the food good and plentiful. Again the staff looked after us well.
