This place is in such a great location and the hosts are lovely and helpful. We felt so welcome.
This was our first trip to England from the US, and we could not have picked a better place to stay. The Wheatsheaf Inn is such a special place, and the owners are true gems! The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was so enjoyable.
The staff is wonderful--enjoyed chatting with the manager about the area. It was a comfortable room for 2 travelers, quiet, and clean. We enjoyed the traditional breakfast options.
Friendly staff. Very clean. Lovely breakfast. Not too noisy at night time and fid not stay open after normal hours so sleep was not disturbed
Lovely,traditional old pub, welcomed by a roaring fire and really friendly staff. Room warm and very clean. Everything you need provided
The food was excellent. Perfectly cooked steak and an amazing pie!
