The publican license holder is very knowledgeable about the area and a nice man. We enjoyed his brief company.

Such a quaint place
Staff were very polite and helpful. The room was beautiful, perfectly decorated with fantastic facilities. The bed was extremely comfy and the bath was wonderful.
Despite being on a main road, the room was really quiet and we weren't disturbed by road noise at all.
Breakfast was good , hot and served with a smile . The Pub is very old and so has lots of character , which is what we like , so no complaints .
Very helpful and friendly staff. Lovely breakfast.
