Lovely atmosphere. Very welcoming. Great value and a proper pub ... Had dinner in the pub, was really good - the rooms aren't in the pub, but in a building to the side - small, but cosy and met all our needs for a one night stay. Great location, one train stop away from the NEC which is where we wanted to go.
Quaint pub ideally located for my nearby business event. Parking is a plus. The bedroom is not in the main pub. Outside walk 20 seconds to a collection of what used to be old terrace cottages or a barn maybe many many years ago. The room was quite twee (which was endearing) a bedroom and bathroom. Very small but extremely cosy and warm. The bed and pillows were the best bit. Very comfortable. Clean, tea coffee, towels supplied. I didn't realise breakfast was included until the last day.breakfadt was inside the cute pub and very nice. Overall great value, friendly staff and will be returning every 8 weeks due to work travel
Breakfast was amazing, as was our Evening meal, great outside seating area, friendly atmosphere, lovely cozy rooms
Rooms are quaint and comfortable, the pub has a cozy relaxing atmosphere, breakfast was very good, staff is friendly, welcoming and attentive.
Great location for the NEC with the train station in walking distance making It very easy to get to concert and back , very comfortable bed and room had some great touches like tea and coffee making with biscuits as well as free toiletries. The facilities downstairs were great and very country-like and had a great range of food and drink. Breakfast was very nice too.
Staff were very helpful, friendly and checked me and partner in earlier and fast when waiting also good communication prior to this.
Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to visit Birmingham and miss all the traffic aswell as getting free parking. Would stay again.
