Our group of 11 stayed at the Woolpack for a friends hen. The hosts were wonderful and communicative throughout and left us plenty of prosecco and treats for our arrival. The property was absolutely perfect for our needs with plenty of space for entertaining such a big group. The beds were comfortable and the bedrooms beautifully decorated and laid out. The kitchen was stocked with everything you could need to host. We found it took about 15 minutes to walk to most of the main attractions in York so is a perfect base for exploring. 100% would recommend and would definitely book again if I had a large group.
The location was great the place it's self was spotless and the little touches like yorkies left out for every guest and a couple of bottles of spirits out
Great space for everyone downstairs, perfect for sitting chatting and playing games as a group. Was also perfect for us that all of the rooms had 2 single beds so we didn't need to share.
House was well located and close to town.
Welcome pack was such a nice gesture.
Staff were amazing, great communication and accommodating
Highly recommend this large, well presented house, which made an 80th birthday party special 6 bedrooms with twin beds or doubles if pushed together meant all of the family could stay. A huge dining table allowed us to eat together. Just a few minutes walk to the town centre.
Facilities were great would definitely return as an ideal spot for a get together.
