It was a nice quiet location and we were in the old air force building which I prefer to the new builds on the land there. I have used serviced flats in the area several times before, including in this building. In face we were next to the historic wind tunnel which is part of Farnborough airfield, so we were just outside the zone which is still used as an airfield. There was ample heating and everything that we needed worked. The double glazing, which has replaced the 1930s metal windows but still looks authentic, closed hermetically so we had no draughts. Because there is so much glass in the exterior walls there was plenty of light but there were totally functional vertical blinds throughout and nice curtains in the bedrooms.
