The staff were friendly and felt like being around a big family.

The Trefeddian is in a lovely location set into a hillside facing the sea north of Aberdyfi. There is a road and a railway line between the hotel and the sea but traffic is never heavy and trains infrequent. It has a good sized indoor pool, tennis court and games room with snooker and pool tables as well as a room for smaller children. You can walk to the sea. The nearest facilities are in Aberdyfi which is a small place with a few restaurants, pubs etc There are plenty of friendly and efficient staff. Food was generally very good although the breakfast selection was always the same. Rooms are a good size, clean and comfortable. Would readily stay there again.
Staff were excellent. The reception staff were very welcoming. Lounges had a luxurious feel. Views were first class.
