The flat is in a great location, with a nearby park, lake, and River Tweed within a 5 to 15-minute walk. The surrounding area is wonderful and the small town of Melrose with its abbey ruins, just 3 miles away, should not be missed. The apartment is in a well-built block on the second floor. The central heating was excellent and kept us warm on some freezing nights.
