We had breakfast here and it was amazing, just what we needed after a week of hiking and camping in the lake district.
The staff were brilliant. Me and my partner only interacted with the two ladies at the reception desk, both were brilliant.

The staff were friendly and helpful and the pub/restaurant felt really luxurious, cosy and well designed. The food was very tasty. Despite some negatives about the room itself, it was in a great central location, very close to town and was a good base for a hot shower and a cosy sleep.
Comfy beds, clean everything, lovely shower and good facilities. Quiet at night, staff friendly and helpful, not badly priced and breakfast was decent.
