We had the excellent balcony room overlooking the wonderful North Yorkshire countryside. Food and service was excellent as usual. We stayed on a Sunday, and particularly liked that there was a lot more than the usual roast dinners on the menu, and dinner was served up to 8.00pm

Our room was excellent, small, but well furnished, clean and comfortable, with a great view of the countryside from our balcony. Staff and service were great as usual, and food excellent.
So pleased with our choice. It's in a nice countryside setting and very easy to find. Our room was lovely - big, comfortable and spotless. The food at dinner time was great. Breakfast equally good. And the staff are all lovely.
View from the bedroom was outstanding. Food in the restaurant was delicious not your average pub meal. Great breakfast. Lovely staff. Highly recommended.
