Wenden Guest House is a recently renovated guest house in the center of Newquay, a 3-minute walk from Great Western Beach and 500 yards from Tolcarne Beach. The property was very clean and well kept. The host was extremely accommodating and friendly. I would stay here again for the value.
The room was lovely big bright and clean. Cilla was absolutely fantastic and so helpful. We can't wait to visit again.
OMG, this was may be my favorite place that I stayed on my entire trip. I was lucky that someone else had cancelled, because I got in at the last minute... on a weekend. The hostess could not have been lovelier, giving me a map, dining recommendations, calling me a taxi and waiting with me for it to come... It's a simple house with private rooms that all have their own bathrooms... but it's just done WELL. Everything feels very knew and thoughtfully designed. It's also about a 2 minute walk from the train station and convenient to the rest of town. I can't recommend enough.
Superb location, the room was lovely and very spacious with all the facilities you need.
We really enjoyed our stay and recommend it.
Parking was handy too.
Cilla was the perfect host.
