With free WiFi, free parking and a fine restaurant, this hotel used to be a country club. It is in quiet, rural Hopwood, 1.6 mi from the M42 and well placed for central Birmingham. Just outside Birmingham, Westmead is 25 minutes' drive from the NEC, close to the M40/M5/M6 motorways. Chocolate attraction Cadbury World is 10 minutes' drive away. The Westmead Bar and Lounge is open until late for drinks and snacks, with comfy sofas and chairs. All rooms have private bathrooms and super-king-size beds.

it was closer to our friends place, as we were visiting them.
Even though there was a boisterous wedding reception on, down the bedroom corridors there was very little noise, and once I had entered my room, even with the windows open wide I couldn’t hear anything from the party at all.
Everything was fine. I could hear the man snoring in the next room and I also heard his alarm off at 5:45 am which wasn’t great other than that perfect day.
Really friendly staff make your stay so plesent. Have stayed a few times now.
