In the center of Alnwick, this 300-year-old coaching inn is a short walk from Alnwick Castle and Gardens. Its restaurant’s decor was salvaged from the Titanic’s sister ship. Free parking is available. The bedrooms all have a private bathroom with a hairdryer and bathroom amenities. Guests can also enjoy a seating area and tea/coffee making facilities in each room. Some rooms are pet-friendly. The Olympic Suite restaurant offers an à la carte menu and has stained glass windows from the RMS ship. Hardy’s proposes a more informal experience with its bar and bistro menu. The White Swan Hotel is a 40-minute drive from Newcastle and the Metro Center. Alnmouth Station and the North-East coast are a 10-minute drive away.

Right in the town and had a car park really good breakfast friendly staff nice bar area and amazing dining room room was adequate
The location....the room,, the dining room the friendly staff.
Unfortunately being situated on the main street and having to keep the window open due to warm weather
we were disturbed the second night (we did stay 2 nights booked separately) at 5am by a dredger which made
a lot of noise virtually just opposite the hotel. There must have been a blockage problem.
Of course that was not the hotel.s fault, but we could not go back to sleep.
Pleasant room with view over the high street. Good breakfast.
Good cooked breakfast. Comfortable bed, very clean, very dog friendly
Breakfast was varied and excellent, especially the black pudding!
