cosy comfortable room with spectacular views. great facilities inc coffee machine, plenty of hot water, comfy mattress & pillows. super breakfast.
Convenient for us as Pennine walkers. And wonderful for Lee to pick us up and drop us back the next morning - all with a smile!

Very pleasant place to stay - lovely rural location, and pleasant room with all the usual amenities. Great view from 2 opening windows. Clean and comfortable, let down only by very poor water pressure in the shower.
Friendly staff. Arranged a lift to and from the hotel from the start / end of the hike whilst hiking the Pennine Way. Even though the restaurant isn't open on a Monday they allow diners to order in a takeaway and eat in the dining room / bar. Breakfast lovely.
