Elizabeth's property was more than we had hoped for. It was lovely, with gorgeous views and plenty of privacy. The space itself was even nicer than we expected - it truly is luxurious. I highly recommend Woodland Lodge if you are looking for a comfortable place to stay in Skye away from the crowds.
We loved everything. Lovely home and surroundings.
It was an excellent location to see the isle of Skye. The pub in town was wonderful too with good food and music. The suite was super comfy and very roomy. The host is very thoughtful and left out snacks and two drams of whiskey for us. She also recommended places to visit. If I could give it a higher score I would. Definitely stay here. It was very peaceful and serene.
We had a fantastic stay at the Woodland Lodge. It has a very beautiful view and a lot of privacy. We actually liked this area more than Portree even though it is a little bit out of the way from some of the northern and western points of attraction. Elizabeth and Ian were very hospitable and kind. They left us some aged whisky tasters as well as some snacks. We highly recommend this place.
