Around 5 miles from Petersfield in the South Downs, Ye Olde George Inn offers stylish rooms alongside a traditional pub and restaurant. In the Hampshire village of East Meon, this atmospheric 15th-century coaching inn enjoys a countryside setting and provides free parking and Wi-Fi. Breakfast was brilliant, and location of Inn was also great. Food in the restaurant also very good along with the staff who are friendly and helpful
The food at the Inn was amazing and the breakfast choices were unique. My bedroom was very comfortable. The staff were very attentive and friendly. The whole setting in the village was exceptional.
Great food in the restaurant! Classic village pub in a lovely little village. It was a great respite from a long day hiking the South Downs. Very comfortable to be there as a solo female traveller. I would stay again
The atmosphere of the whole place was very nice. Every member of staff was friendly and accommodating and made us very welcome. The food in the Bar & Restaurant was very good and they have some dishes that were different from the norm and were excellent. If you are thinking of booking this place.......DO!!
We had a lovely time at Ye Olde George Inn. Staff were very helpful and accommodating as we needed to leave early the next morning. Had dinner the night we stayed and it was delicious. The village itself is very pretty, would have loved to have explored more. It was also in a very handy location close to the South Downs Way.
