In a popular part of Ryde, on the Isle of Wight, Yelf's Hotel is a former coaching inn with a restaurant, close to the hovercraft and ferry services to Portsmouth and Southsea. Yelf's Hotel is one of the oldest coaching inns on the Isle Of Wight. There is a comfortable bar and lounge area with a conservatory and patio. Some guest rooms are located in Bromley House which is opposite the main hotel building. Newport and Cowes are both a 15-minute drive from Ryde, and Yelf's is a few minutes from the sea. Please note that some rooms are located in Bromley House which is opposite the main hotel building. This facility has some ground floor accommodations as well as large family rooms. Yelf's Hotel cannot guarantee that guests will be located in the main hotel.

The Hotel is in a perfect location, on the main street.
Upon check-in, I was assigned a penthouse room with a sea view (a double room with a separate living area, a kettle/breakfast table, and a bathroom with a bathtub). The TV didn't work, so they installed a larger one.
The mattress was uncomfortable, but overall the room was fabulous: 8.5 rating.
Nice central position, nice clean rooms and surroundings, friendly staff. Nice comfortable bed.
The staff were very helpful & polite & the room was spacious & clean.
Friendly staff, convenient location and met all my needs for a visit to Ryde. Room was comfortable and had all the basics. Clean and tidy, although a little dated.
The property’s location is the best part about the hotel.It has very lively dinner,breakfast service and good place to hang around for casual drinks. Staff which were mostly young adults were all helpful, respectful,mindful and attentive and can’t ignore hardworking as well. We found property clean maintained with wooden furniture and squeaking wooden floor which was clean as well. No old wooden furniture smell which could put someone off in an instance.We had ironing board,and all basic facilities. You also get option of breakfast just for 9.95£. Location is known to everyone including taxi’s,bus drivers shop keepers so easy to find. Short distance walk from pier and train station and hover craft which is a great addition so you could easily and quickly arrive from Portsmouth.
