Beautiful, clean historic home. Only 3 suites making the stay quite intimate.
Liked the location, coziness of the whole lower level and the fireplace adds a very nice touch!
Property was very clean, short walk to the Main Street/lake area, beautiful and well-kept, the Barrows suite was roomy, excellent bathroom and shower, bed very comfortable and the robe was appreciated. There were even umbrellas available for when going out. Galley/kitchen area was full of good selections of snacks and teas.
The accommodations, common areas and attention to detail at 34 State far exceeded our expectations for the rate paid! I have read one or two other reviews here stating the value for the money was not Up to the travelers expectations, well clearly those customers are unaware of the quality of bedding, designer furnishings and the premiere location that 34 State possesses. Either that or they rarely travel. I don’t mean to be smug but we are frequent travelers and this place is outstanding in every way. In comparison to other places we’ve stayed in town we would rate the value, quality, location and service exceptional.

The location was perfect, and there is nothing more we could ask for. The suite was so comfortable and nicely decorated. The "silent concierge" was super attentive, only a quick text away from immediate attention. Incredibly accommodating.
