Good location and walkable to our cruise departure location

Had the queen bed room on the 3rd floor with private shower and toilet. The bed was comfortable. Also had a kitchenette of oven, fridge, microwave, coffee maker. Hotel served fresh coffee downstairs as well. The charm of this older hotel that is right smack dab in the middle of Juneau and convenient to all the shops and restaurants made this the perfect location for us! Also the price for a downtown location beat out all the other hotels. Lastly, it was supposedly an old brothel in the day and they have a fun bar downstairs that provides entertainment when the other bars close up shop due to the cruise ships leave by 900 pm. The noise was not a problem on the 3rd floor. I took the bus from the airport which was only $2 dollar cash versus a Taxi or Uber for $30. Bus stop is just a short walk away from front of airport and the bus dropped me off right near front of Alaskan Hotel.

We loved the quirkiness of the hotel with all the antiques and the location was fabulous. We also liked the music when it finished around 11 or earlier.

I love historical buildings. Very clean rooms and the bed was comfortable. I love the paranormal. Because of its age, there are no elevators, which was no problem since I only had a small carry-on suitcase.

The location was perfect and it’s within walking distance and close to the bus terminal for all I wanted to do during my 4 night stay in Juneau. The ferry I was taking was scheduled to arrive at 9:30pm and I was concerned about a late check in but the staff were responsive about that and then when the ferry was delayed I was in touch with the hotel and I got an immediate response and I was grateful to be greeted in such a friendly manner even though it was after 10:30pm when I arrived.
