Loved that or room was next to breakfast. (The restaurant)
Very close to Blackwater falls state park and downtown area. Staff was nice. Place is outdated, but overall fine. The beds were on a Hollywood frame but ok, might not work for some older or heavier people. AC worked well. Everything was clean despite the negative reviews. I think there are definitely nicer places to stay, however, this is what you will get for this location and this price point. It is good if you will spend most of your day in the park. Wifi does not work in most of the rooms, but you can go to a main conference area and use it. Staff was nice.
The staff went out of their way to help us. We had a bit of a key issue and arrived super late and they took care of it in minutes. Absolutely impressed!
This is a cozy, older, lodge. Rooms are older, but clean. The restaurant is great.
Old facilities but great value for the money. Bed was comfortable, room was clean.
