Interesting older hotel with a lot of history. Take a tour of the opera house if you can. This is what it is , an older historic hotel, it has not been updated and thankfully so.
This is a one-of-a-kind gem in Death Valley that everyone should support and experience. Seeing the theater that was built single-handedly by Marta Becket was so special and impressive. If you're a desert geek like me and you want to time travel into the past in a remote and quiet setting, definitely check it out! Don't go at the height of summer as it gets really hot!
I loved how it was all old & authentic. The history was very interesting to learn.
