Our room was beautiful overlooking Lake Superior. The staff was very helpful and kind. Dinner on the deck over looking the Lake was spectacular. We dined there every night of our stay.

The beautiful atmosphere. It's like staying at a mansion on Lake Superior. High ceilings with ornate furnishings. Look out to the marina, water and sunsets from the deck and "parlor" lobby spacious with comfy couches and chairs. Wonderful restaurant with outdoor seating. Linens and towels fresh. I could go on!

Breakfast was very adequate. Nothing fancy, but what was there was good. A step above most Hamptons for example. BEAUTIFUL DECK to sit on and take in the view of Lake Superior. Beautiful furniture and woodwork in the common areas. This used to be a very upscale hotel that hosted high society events. There are still moments of that history preserved throughout the place. It's kind of crazy that it's a Best Western now. Really cool place! Convenient! Walgreens and convenience store right across the street if you need a snack or medicine or anything.
