Location, location and location - it is directly across the road from the Trillium Fall Trail, one of the highlights of our trip. You can’t get closer to it than this property! Just walk across the road and you are surrounded by beautiful shades of green everywhere. And the property is so very cute. It is very clean, with a simulated wood burning stove that kept the place nice and toasty (it is gas powered). Nice shower, a comfy bed and because it is open concept, the whole place feels very spacious. It has pretty fast internet even though it’s in the middle of nowhere. The directions from the host were very clear - and we appreciate the heads up to have the directions downloaded and groceries purchased before getting to the property.
Location to prairie creek visitor center was great. Nice kitchen facilities but would have liked hot chocolate packets with coffee/tea. Keurig was good. Needed directions for Cusinart coffee pot? Loved heater in bathroom and plenty of soft towels. Appreciated dryer for wet pants. Trouble seeing entrance at night-could you add a reflective light at the driveway and sensor near parking at back so we could find the entry door better?
Everything! It was perfect! I was going to go out hunting for elk to photograph. I had no idea they would come to me! The whole herd, right there in the yard! Loved every minute!
The location was perfect. Right in the middle of everything I wanted to see in the Redwoods. Huge place. Quiet. Comfortable. The bed was great! This is quite the find!
Very cozy and beautifully decorated place with a fire place and a fully equipped kitchen. Elks in the front yard included.
