Not a cookie cutter hotel. Well restored historic building artistically decorated. Located in a nice Tamaque neighborhood. Clean and comfortable.
The vibe / atmosphere. Relaxing. Comfortable beds . Nice manager.
The hotel was an unexpectedly lovely respite in Tamaqua, a place where we wouldn’t have expected such a property. The rooms were comfortable and the self service pantry had a nice selection of drinks and healthy snacks. The other occupants were friendly and used the common area without making too much noise. Although there was no interaction with the Innkeeper, entry and checkout was smooth and trouble free..
The room size was sufficient for our one night stay. The bed was comfortable, we were able to control the HVAC system for our comfort level, and the shower and bathroom amenities were nice. There were sufficient hangers but it would have been nice to have the floor length mirror in an open area.
Overall though, the stay was very nice and we will definitely stay at the Bischoff Inn when we visit Tamaqua again.
