The rooms are beautiful and very comfortable with plenty of wood decor. The area is a quiet and peaceful part of Raton at the foot of the pass. Rates and dog fees, etc are very reasonable and the owners are very nice, friendly, and very professional.
Pulling into the motel itself looks questionable but as soon as you walk into your room it has a nice log cabin sort of theme. Very clean bed very neatly made.
Friendly and accommodating staff. Very quiet and comfortable
Old, well used motel but in clean and nice condition. The manager/owner was extremely nice and helpful. We had a long and pleasant conversation. Parking was ample and close, even with a trailer. Location was convenient but off the beaten path so there was no traffic issues.
CHEAP priced place to sleep en route to Colorado ski areas.
