Made me feel like a New Yorker. Carriage House had an atmosphere of calm as soon as you closed the gate behind from the outside world. The subway was so close and the L line train came every 3 minutes which meant quick access to Manhattan. Carriage House had all the comforts that we love, comfy large couch, well equipped kitchen and roomy dining area where we could enjoy our mealtimes together. Even though it is studio style, the layout meant that the queen bed and a top bunk single arrangement gave everyone their own privacy and space.
Loved all the chests of drawers and hanging area, meant we could really unpack and feel like we were at home.
The large front window and skylights were fabulous- I love light!
Also I felt extremely secure at Carriage House and also in the surrounding streets- our neighbours knew us by the end- even waved goodbye when we were leaving.
Checkin/checkout was seamless.
The owners have created a perfect oasis for a perfect stay in Brooklyn.
