I had a great stay at the Casa De La Playa. It is in a quiet, scenic part of town. The staff are lovely and helpful, the rooms are reasonably priced and comfortable. Would happily book again.
Prior to our stay, we were honestly a bit concerned by a recent bad review for this accomodation on Booking. However, we found our stay very pleasant! The location is superb, and yes, while the communication (e.g., for check-in) could be improved, we would still highly recommend it and stay again (given the price stays the same).
Adorable property right next to the beach and close to lots of restaurants/bars/shops. Really the perfect La Jolla location. Incredibly kind staff and amazing value.
Location was amazing and the parking was not as bad. Definitely would book again and my favorite is being able to wash clothes and cook breakfast.
Casa De La Playa was amazing and so tranquil. We had an ocean view every morning and throughly enjoyed the cleanliness and hospitality of the staff. They have laundry on site as well as games, books, a jacuzzi, a BBQ, plus more. We can’t wait to come back!
