After we got used to the gravel roads off Rt.22, the location turned out to be very convenient. There is a Giant and a gas station nearby, and some local attractions like Lincoln Caves is close. The host was very nice, (although it was a holiday weekend, and nobody answered the phone to reach them several times.) The best part was the 'happy' animals on the property, especially Walter, the male turkey! He even climbed up the hill to our unit to see us off at the end of our stay! The location is not clearly listed on any website, but Hawn's Overlook is very close from this location. The sunset, looking down the Lake from the top of the hill was beautiful, and memorable. This area offers so many outdoor activities, and we hope to visit again sometime in the future.
