My friend and I have stayed here for years and have been very satisfied. Everything was clean and the staff accommodating.
My friend comes from California, I live in Washington, adjacent to St George, Utah. We do a flyfishing trip to the area yearly. I come to Panguitch occasionally and prefer to stay at Color Country.
Note: One main reason why we don't stay at other motels in Panguitch is the toilets are small, "Low Boy" or "Childlike" style which are awful for adults.
Location was great, close to an excellent restaurant, close to downtown.
The double bed room was actually 2 rooms in one unit. Nice feature. Basic motel. Quiet. Friendly staff.
The owners were very friendly. The room was a simple motel room and great for the price.
The manager put me in a room with no room above me as I asked him to. Although it was an older property in need of remodeling, it was clean and everything worked well. There was good cable TV service and strong wifi. It was quiet and I slept well. It was fairly priced too. It was perfect for an overnight stay.
