convenient only a 5 minute drive from my destination on Monday where I needed to be at 10:30 am
This is one of my favorite places to stay when I visit the Pittsburgh area. The hotel is conveniently located close to shopping, restaurants, and major highways. It's consistently clean, and the staff is, for the most part, personable and professional. The rooms are spacious and tastefully furnished except for the odd sliding TV set-ups found in the rooms in which I've stayed. It is a very comfortable place to stay.
The front desk staff were delightful, great personalities, not just the "this is my job" face. The room was spacious and clean. The bistro staff was also very personable. The location was fabulous, less than 5 minutes from gas,5 restaurants and even the return to the Pa. Pike. If it wasn't for the highway, you could have walked to the restaurants!
Bed was not that good. Needed a bigger trash can in the room.
