One of the most historic places you can stay in Salem and they really play to that strength! Beautifully decorated and little surprises around every corner. Sophistically quirky and eclectic. Highly recommend. It was a shared bathroom bed-and-breakfast but never once was that an issue or awkward. Everything was kept extremely clean, and I never even heard our neighbors.
The location was perfect - very close to everything you'd want to see in Salem. The property itself was just perfect- a very unique and charming experience in and of itself. The coffee was excellent!
The location to all parts of town is perfect. The atmosphere is authentic, and you feel like you are transported back to 1600 Salem (rich people Salem). It's our second time there and we can't wait to come back.
The authentic building, furnishings, and location. . The breakfast and drinks were healthy and a good variety.
Breakfast as stated : Bagels/english muffins..tea/coffee and breakfast bars and cereal....simple set up...Something to consider..The night before, I found the door to eating room closed..Love tea before bed. Texted owner and he was kind to unlock and start the kettle for me. The owner goes out of his way to tend to our needs....Very thankful.
