The place was very clean, comfortable and the staff were very nice.

The gentleman that checked us in was friendly, and our room was ready when we arrived (a little early). The room was sparse but clean and comfortable. The parking lot had been freshly coated and the area was well lighted at night. The room rate was great. The train runs on the tracks behind the hotel but we put in earplugs and slept well. There aren’t a lot of food options (other than fast food) in Van Horn, and we wanted a beer with dinner. Gilberts right next door looked like a bar but was actually a nice family style sit down restaurant and we had a fantastic meal. It was mostly other couples and two sheriffs there for dinner. In all a gem of a find in a small town. I would definitely stay again.

It had everything I needed and everything worked, good maid service.

No frills but clean, comfortable, working fridge w/freezer & AC. All rooms on ground floor, able to park right in front of room. Felt safe. Close walk to good Mexican restaurant. Located on road with little traffic.

For the money, I don't think you can beat this place! The room was clean & had all the amenities needed for an overnight stay. All that was missing was a coffee pot to make our necessary morning cup of coffee. But, since everything else met or exceeded our expectations, I won't complain. The owner, Peter, was kind, courteous & professional, too!
