Information about the type of meals included in the price is indicated in the rate details., In accordance with the Institutional Regulations and the rules governing the fee for access, with or without a shuttle service, in Venice and the small islands of the Venetian Lagoon, an additional fee is charged to day-trippers who do not stay overnight and plan to visit the historic city centre from Friday to Sunday or on public holidays, from 08:30 AM to 04:00 PM. The fee will be from EUR 5.00 to 10.00 per day, depending on the date of booking. After payment, tourists must have a confirmation. Exempt from this fee are children under 14; residents of Venice and the Veneto region; people working or studying in Venice. Guests staying overnight are also exempt from this fee and must pay the city tax at the accommodation facilities. A cleaning tax is not included in the reservation price and is payable separately at the hotel. Mandatory gala dinner fees may apply at Italy hotels. Guests should contact the hotel directly for more information. Remember: your apartment could be located in either the Dorsoduro or Giudecca districts in the historical centre of Venice. Please note that a deposit of EUR 250 is payable by VISA or Mastercard on arrival. This will be pre-authorized by local representatives on arrival and held in case of damages after having checked the property. After completing your reservation you will receive the contact numbers of Dorsoduro & Giudecca Island Apartments representatives. Please remember to call 7 days before your arrival to communicate your arrival time and schedule an appointment with a representative. At check-in you will be given the keys and more information about the apartment. Should you need to change the meeting time, please call the same numbers at latest 3 days before arrival. The staff will meet you at the public water bus station that is closest to the apartment. Requests for late arrival are subject to a surcharge and must be confirmed by the property. The latest possible check-in, even if paying the surcharge, is 00:00. The cost of final cleaning is included in the rate. However, you must tidy the kitchen and remove all garbage, or an extra cleaning fee will be charged. Please note, cash payments over EUR 1,000.00 are not permitted under current Italian law.
