Beautiful contemporary hotel in the heart of downtown, making everywhere in the city very accessible. Great rooftop bar and restaurant. Very friendly and helpful team. I’ve stayed here twice now and definitely would choose it again.

Incredibly comfortable bed, lovely design hotel, fab food and drinks and very helpful staff. Great location in DTLA. Definitely would come back. The rooms are snug but that’s what you get for a city hotel. We booked a deluxe king with city view. Try the avocado bruschetta, amazing!

Amazing DTLA location. Very stylish hotel. Great rooftop bar and restaurant. Dip in a rooftop pool is a must. Helpful and attentive staff.

We've stayed at a few DTLA hotels and this has to be our fave. If you're a design fan, the Proper is for you. The Kelly Wearstler interiors are divine - the entrance is magical and the rooftop bar is dreamy with lots of greenery and stunning views over Downtown. We loved our high-floor room. Beautiful decor, bathroom and bed - wish I could have taken the pillows home with me. Excellent service from the front desk and valet team. Had a super fun night at the rooftop bar with friends, really didn't want to leave.
